Saturday mornings are a great time for the younger &/or novice skaters at Gisborne's town park because it is not too busy, and allows a nice, friendly, and open atmosphere for very informal skateboarding lessons. They are extremely casual, with no enrolment, no fees, nor even any particular times - just "Saturday mornings" when the weather's good enough to skate.

Anybody interested in improving their skateboarding is welcome to come on down and join us. Likewise, anybody interested in mentoring and helping to pass on some of their skateboarding skills is also encouraged to come on down and help with any number of kids who are getting their courage up to try a few new things. It's really just about getting together, working on some new skills, and refining some old skills in a healthy, safe, and positive environment.
